Krime Time
For a brief period in late 2009/early 2010 I
dabbled in true crime writing for the website
examiners.com. My goal was to find the
kinds of stories that are usually summed up
in one or two paragraphs and then
forgotten, and to eke out the human
narratives buried within, treating them as
micro stories in their own right- whether
sad, tragic or funny. It was a lot of fun and I
received some very positive feedback.
Everybody loved my krime. Alas, the site's
risible remuneration policies rendered the
project impossible to continue and thus I
had to abandon it after writing about thirty
